The rain falls mainly on our house that is plain! Husband was a little fraught this morning our electric boiler has backed up, so it is a matter of sharing a bath after the children and before the aupair. To make things worse it also seems our oil has run out yet again.
We did think the water was running from the taps at boiling point and it a little odd that the heating seemed to be on 10pm until 5am in the morning. We are slowly getting to the bottom of the mystery. Could the oil have been stolen, could the tank have a leak, could the electric boiler have fused the house electrics and changed the timer, could we be moving abroad soon! Miss Marple would be proud.. Husband has been on the net and will be tinkering with the boiler just for fun when he returns from work.
The shop job is going well I seem to have charged a lucky lady £12 for a £120 dress, the boss was not well pleased, and has sent the lucky client a letter, in the hope of trying to redeem the cash. I wonder if there is such a person in the world who would still post off a cheque to fix somebody's mistake that had benefited them?
Well it is double jumpers for us all and cold showers, hoping the weather wil pick up and we can all hose off in the sun shine in the garden or husband gets oil and the boiler fixed.
